Bancserv is an FNTG owned company that provides exceptional notary signing services nationwide. We provide experienced signing agents who take closing documents to a customer’s home or office to have them signed, notarized and promptly returned to you.

Complying with ALTA Best Practices

ALTA Best Practices recommend using only authorized persons to conduct transactions, making sure authorized individuals are background checked and trained and verifying proper licensing. As a result, ALTA Best Practice #2 is interpreted to extend to other aspects of the closing process, including the document signing, and FNTG’s procedures for complying have been expanded to state “Transactions are to be conducted by authorized employees only OR underwriter approved 3rd Party Notary Services”.

  Tested, Licensed and Double-Checked

Bancserv has an extensive Notary approval process that includes taking and passing a test, collecting license, bond and insurance information and obtaining various other signed documentation regarding the notary’s responsibilities and requirements.

  Constant Monitoring and Rating

Our notaries are monitored and rated on an ongoing basis through their performance with our assignments, which is automated through our proprietary system. This information is utilized in the notary selection process.

  Thorough Background Checks

We obtain background checks that meet comprehensive search requirements and only background checked notaries are assigned to loan signing requests. We also provide ongoing training materials to our notary network.
